Here's where I'll be dumping zip files every so often (probably once a month), containing art that I've done over the month that I'm happy for you to use in your non-commercial indie RPGs. Hi, I'm Mitz and I'm an actual illustrator and I draw a lot of stuff that doesn't get used for anything. And I often hear or read about designers who want art for their games but can't spare the budget. SOOOooo I'm opening these images up for people to use so you don't feel like you have to resort to AI slop. Use my slop instead!

WAIT SO IT'S FREE FOR REAL?

Yes, you don't have to pay a bean, providing a) it's for a non-commercial project, and b) you attribute me and maybe link back to my itch.io and/or my bluesky. If you want to donate I'm not going to stop you, but these are absolutely for free for you to remove the financial barrier that is art, a common problem for most indie TTRPG designers. If anything, you could drop a rating or comment, or maybe check out my other games. (I reserve the right to ask you to remove my art from your projects, something that I'm unlikely to ask unless you're doing some weird anti-woke drivel or whatever)

I hate that this is a question that we have to answer but this is the world we live in now. Yes, I draw everything myself, most of these are done in pencil and then inked digitally. No, I don't make these with generative AI, and you shoudn't have to use that slop either. I believe in your talent! 

IS MY GAME NON-COMMERCIAL TO YOU, MITZ?

If your rpg is on sale here on itch or drivethru or wherever and you're charging a small fee for it, I'm fine with that. If your rpg is being printed in small runs (under 500) as zines or books, that's also allowed. If you're a big company doing huge print runs or a kickstarter, and want to use any of my art, get in touch for I am very reasonable! Basically if you're unsure and worried about crossing any lines, just drop me a message.

So I draw what I want to, and usually that means I'm drawing a) mostly women b) modern day outfits. If there's anything you would hope that I'd draw then plop it in the comments here and if it takes my fancy then it might appear. In a nutshell, I'm not taking requests but I am taking inspiration. Note: I'm unlikley to be drawing fantasy clothing much as I don't really enjoy doing it, and I'm definitely not here to draw any kink/abuse/sex stuff, deviantart is riiiight over there, buddy

CAN I CHANGE THE ART OR COLOUR IT?

Sure! As long as you stick to the attribution/non-commercial guidelines. Obviously I'd prefer it if you didn't change the art to be like weird nazi fetish porn or whatever, so use common sense and decency.

HOW OFTEN ARE YOU ADDING TO THIS?

Probably around the end of each month I'll add a new zip file with whatever I've drawn that month. Bear in mind that I have actual paying work that I draw (as well as TTRPGs that I work on myself) and I have a 7yo daughter so the quantity of each month's content may differ. I'm also putting art on my bluesky whenever I do it so following that might mean you get to see my updates quicker.
